And that is to do with the new love for online streaming in India

But then, a chain of controversies surrounding the release of movies like Padmaavat may not have helped reign in the sentiment. The year 2017 was, however, exceptional as hits like Bahubali and Dangal brought the audience back to the screens. These channels are also changing qualitatively, which means China speaker cable Suppliers the filmmakers are getting hit more and more from different directions, all of them leading inevitably towards bringing down footfalls at the screens. When did you last visit a multiplex to watch a movie? Is the parking fee, the price of popcorn and snacks, plus the cost of tickets burning holes in your pocket which is inhibiting the age old habit of living your dreams on the big silver screen?

Wait. The newbies like Netflix and Amazon have caught on to this quickly and are producing quality films with small artistes. If over-the-top media streaming services are somewhat expensive today, they may soon have to get down to competing with the DTH and cable services to keep their clientele.Entertainment, through online streaming, not only represented a revolution in the way the world watched movies, serials and documentaries, but also these streaming companies began generating local content for India. Beyond that, people are viewing videos online, thanks to more reliable connectivity coming to mobile phones even as charges for data access on the internet came down drastically in the wake of Jio disrupting the telecom industry by dropping prices in a dramatic style. With the theatres being shut or recycling old classics due to a major film strike in South India, over fees charged by Digital Service Providers as Virtual Print Fee, there is even more reason for movie buffs to go online.

And that is to do with the new love for online streaming in India. As more and more Indians are subscribing to Netflix and Amazon Prime to watch a plethora of content that cannot be viewed in an average person’s life span, online streaming is set to overtake the attractions of a cinema hall. In just two years, digital streaming is projected to earn `3,000 crore more than the film industry’s hefty `19,200 crore, as estimated by EY and FICCI.And which option would they prefer? Industry analysts are projecting online streaming revenues to be overtaking the world’s biggest entertainment industry of all the ‘woods’ - from Bollywood to Kollywood – even by 2020. The game is changing so fast now that the traditional studio industry seems to have less of a future in any projected scenario for the entertainment channels of the future. The magic of cinema will still prove attractive to many – the inviting smell of popcorn machines, designer seating and above all, the romantic hours to be snatched from an otherwise busy life with wife or girlfriend, or should we just say friend in today’s neutral gender world! But online will be taking over all this.

The sheer convenience of it tickles the imagination even as it weakens the resolve to grapple with the traffic and the parking hassles on the way to the screen. Over 250 million people viewed videos online in 2017, which is a growth of 64 per cent according to an Ernst & Young study. Many theatres also suffered damage at the hands of vandals taking advantage of the situation brought about by opposition to the movies. There could be a more modern reason for this incipient aversion to drive to the mall and catch the latest flick on a deluxe screen. This may have shaken up the television movie channels which have been regurgitating movies for years on end, presenting popular old movies at endless periodicity, over and over again. This may appear to be a Doomsday scenario for the big screen, but much of it could be its own creation as the industry is still warped in the star syndrome, paying impossible fees to major actors and attempting to hijack thousands of screens for a couple of weeks to get back investment quickly as movies don’t run for as long a time as in earlier eras. The audience taste is moving towards fresh content as India’s demographics kicks in with relation to this segment as well. Reliance, through Big Synergy, is expected to disrupt the video watching market too by getting into presenting content.

The magic of cinema on the big screen may soon be just a nostalgic memory triggered by the smell of butter in the popcorn, that is if the dream merchants don’t change and place quality above quantity and good cinema over pulp. The number of moviegoers has been declining at least since 2015, according to another research report noting the drop in top chains such as PVR and Inox. The greater threat is, of course, of piracy and that is something moviemakers have been unable to stave off despite their best efforts to galvanise action against the pirates. Such sophisticated streaming services as YouTube and Hotstar, with loads of India-specific content, can also be conveniently viewed on smartphones which means more Indians are now enjoying the choice of lolling at home on the couch and watching a movie or a television serial in solitary splendour or with family and friends, beer in one hand and a tub of designer popcorn in the other, or switching on the app in their phones and bringing in instant entertainment

Since the rear panel is constructed with aluminium

On the camera front, the primary shooter sports an f/2.5-inch full HD IPS display with a curved 2.2, 4G VoLTE connectivity, and micro USB. With a successful Zenfone now in all three segments, here is another that was launched today. However, the memory management from ZenUI manages to take care that the phone does not get down to its knees. While this Zenfone does away the well-known signatory concentric circles, ASUS has made sure you can still see it on the power and volume buttons. Sadly, the device is not protected by a Gorilla Glass since our review unit already showed signs of scratches on the display even though handled with extreme care. Weighing 175 grams, the Zenfone measures 8. The device will be available in three colours -- Sand Gold, Glacier Silver and Titanium Gray.

Since the rear panel is constructed with aluminium, heat transfer is normal, and the device cools quickly too. The rear camera also boasts of super resolution modes which can click up to 64MP resolutions from a single shot. With a 16MP camera, you are bound to get good results and add to that a laser focussing module and you will end up with great results.3mm in thickness. The ASUS Zenfone 3 Max (ZC553KL) is one smartphone that you can opt for if you want a blend of features, battery life and a premium look, but if you are looking for gaming performance, we suggest you stay away. However, with the Indian mindset to protect all smartphones, one will use a screenguard to keep it scratch-free.The top features the earphone jack with a secondary microphone, while the primary mic, speaker and micro USB port are seen on the bottom. We recommend users buying audio cable types this device to opt for a soft silicon case, which will not only protect it from slipping off, but also to keep it from scratches and dents.Below the hood, powering the device, is a mid-range Snapdragon 430 chipset with eight cores clocked at 1. The rear panel is built with elegance – two chamfered stripes each on the top and bottom to separate the rear panel for antenna plastics. Photos captured by the camera are pretty much above average. The user interface is smooth, adding up more applications keeps stressing the processor and will gradually slowdown the Zenfone.

At 4100mAh, ASUS boasts of the highest capacity in a body of this size and with power saving modes enables, the device can give you a maximum of 17 hours of talk time, or 38 days of standby time. Priced at Rs 17,999, The ASUS Zenfone 3 (ZC553KL) we feel that it is priced a bit steep. But we did find the device warming up a little during casual mid-range gaming and excessive photography sessions. On the performance front, we had almost no complaints.Heading to the specifications, The ASUS Zenfone 3 Laser sports a 5.The display sports 2.Rating: ASUS has been striking the smartphone market in almost every segment one can imagine. The Zenfone 3 Max is built with a rugged sandblasted aluminium unibody frame and slapped with a crisp 5.In the connectivity area, the Zenfone 3 Max sports the usual Wi-Fi n, Bluetooth 4. Take a look below for a few too many images ranging from broad daylight to indoor photos with unnatural lighting. As usual, the main USP of the Zenfone 3 Max is the battery. ASUS claims that the display glass is protected by a smudge-resistant oleophobic coating. We tested out the camera and got great results, but we would like you to finally judge for your own.Coming back to the build, the handset is firm, has a good grip and the sand-blasted surface makes up for great aesthetics and a premium look. The Zenfone 3 Max managed to produce rich photos, good enough for prints and sharing.4GHz and supported by 3GB of RAM and an Adreno 505 graphics processor. As usual, the earpiece along with the front camera and sensors are visible towards the top of the display, the volume and power buttons take their place on the right side of the device and the left side houses the two SIM cards in a hybrid slot. Sadly, NFC seems to be missing out here too.

ASUS also boasts that the device, using an OTG cable, can charge other smartphones and devices whenever required.5-inch LCD display. As far as the usability is concerned, the device is very comfortable to hold, but is very slippery since the sandblasted surface makes for a smooth rear panel.5D glass and a brightness of 400 nits, enough for daylight readability and bluelight filter for reducing eyestrain during the night.5D curved corners and features three reflective touch buttons for home, menu and back.. The storage offered is 32GB, but one can use the hybrid SIM slot to expand this to 128GB.The ASUS Zenfone 3 Laser also excels in the photography section. The Zenfone 3 Max is meant for marathon users who need a battery-friendly smartphone as a daily driver for phone calls, internet, social media and photo sharing.0. However, the user interface is pretty simple, easy to use and very fluid. However, though this handset is not meant for graphically demanding game, its best to keep it away from high-end gaming. But with premium looks and a large battery clubbed along with a healthy processor and a good camera, we think the handset demands a decent price tag.

The ASUS Zenfone 3 Max (ZC553KL) is built for those seeking a budget-to-mid-range smartphone but with the looks and build of a premium smartphone. Lastly, the device is fuelled by a 4100mAh battery and runs Android Marshmallow-based ZenUI v3. However, rivals brands like Xiaomi, Honor and a few others could look straight into the eye with a cheaper price tag and similar specifications. The front camera sports an 8MP PixelMaster camera. The rear panel features the camera surrounded by a dual-tone LED flash and a laser centre on both sides, while below lies another chamfered-edged fingerprint scanner.0 16MP PixelMaster camera with 5p Largan lens, PDAF, Laser autofocus and electronic image stabilizer (EIS) clubbed with a dual-tone LED flash. The user interface is not different to what ASUS usually offers, and it would be ideal if the Zen(xxx) apps were optional since they make up to the amount of bloatware added onto the device. Good natural colours, sharp images, a healthy balance between brightness and contrast, and good low-light photography

The device is aimed at serious performance enthusiasts

So if you are a diehard fan of McLaren, and are looking for a beastly performance smartphone out there, the OnePlus 6T McLaren edition is what you should rush for. OnePlus states that with Warp Charge 30, you can use the supplied Papaya Orange braided Type-C cable and the 30W adaptor to charge the handset while simultaneously using the device for power gaming. The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition will go on sale on December 15 in India. The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition is truly a combination of speed, technology and class — right from the design, down to the internals. Beneath, OnePlus has worked closely with Qualcomm and Samsung, who have provided the SoC mainboard and RAM chips to deliver the unique SD845/10GB RAM configuration.

To state that this OnePlus 6T looks just like any other 6T are literally negating any of the efforts the R&D and the design team have put in.Heading back to the design, the McLaren detailing extends beyond the body of the handset as the brand has added a customised skin that’s based on Android Pie.So how does Warp 30 work? OnePlus claims that in just a 20-minute charge, you get an all-day battery which roughly translates to about 50 per cent of the 3700mAh battery on the handset. It’s not just in apps such as photo editing or video editing that will benefit from the extra RAM and optimisation; graphic intensive games such as Asphalt 9, PUBG and a lot more, which require an exhaustive processing power, will benefit to a large extent due — thanks to the redesigned PCB and optimisation of the RAM.

Within the box is a rubber/carbon fibre black case with the McLaren branding, a Papaya Orange braided charging cable and 30W charger, an interactive AR book from McLaren and OnePlus, and a colour themed USB Type-C-to-3.The handset features custom themes and a colour scheme that’s limited to just this handset. This is a nice touch and fans of the brand and McLaren can enjoy this unique visual spectacle before getting to the home screen of the phone.5mm audio dongle. OnePlus also announced Warp Charge 30, which is the next level for Fast Charge aka Dash Charge. The Papaya Orange trims on the edges fade into black, raising its appeal to a different level. You also find the in-display fingerprint sensor that sports a new animation which bleeds McLaren. A unique collectable item for those who love McLaren cars. This handset oozes sex appeal and it needs to be experienced to be believed.

The device is aimed at serious performance enthusiasts, gamers and hardcore OnePlus and McLaren fans. Since the Snapdragon 845 has a limitation of 8GB of RAM, there are two modules (8GB + 2GB) from Samsung that are in use here. However, since this is a limited edition handset boundary wire factory and will be sold in small quantities, it is a collectables item, similar to the Avengers and Star Wars editions released previously. And, it’s all about the looks as this handset is modelled after the Formula One car, the McLaren MCL33. With the battery technology also upscaled with an additional power and heat protection technology, the battery life is ensured capable of working/charging for longer periods. Lastly, the OxygenOS that fuels the UI is marginally different from the regular OnePlus 6 and 6T versions as this is developed to cater to the humungous 10GB of RAM. You may never get your hands on these as they are limited in quantity. This is the same colour that’s used on McLaren’s F1 cars and adding it to the handset strengthens the brands ties with each other. For those of you out there who haven’t been keeping up with the latest in tech, Warp 30 is the brand’s all-new fast charging technology allowing you to charge the handset at a high of 30 Watts; this is much more than most other quick charging solutions offered by other brands.

Alternatively, if you do own a OnePlus Dash charge cable, you can make use of it too with the 30W Warp charger, in case you lose the original cable. Adding this sort of styling, sure took a lot of effort and OnePlus has done it to perfection. In it, you can see the book come to life in the form of pictures and videos that can be viewed only on the McLaren edition 6T using the pre-loaded McLaren AR app. To top up the battery, it took us another 80 minutes ahead to 100%. This price brings it pretty close to flagships from bigger brands that could deflect users away. Also, for those hardcore fans, OnePlus has encased within the box a McLaren logo, the iconic Speedmark, that is an actual piece of the McLaren-designed F1 AA grade carbon fiber– the same material used in the McLaren MCL33 2018 Formula 1 car.The brand has done real-world tests and has ensured that the battery has sufficient cooling technology within to keep it as cool without over-heating.

However, usual timely updates will be rolled out together with other phones as well. However, the RAM works in a way where all the tough chores of graphic intensive apps rely on the extra RAM making them buttery-quick to load and utilise.41-inch Optic AMOLED display boasting a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, the Snapdragon 845 SoC, the 16MP + 20MP rear cameras and the 16MP front-facing camera. We found this to very accurate in our test, and in just 20 minutes, we had about 51 per cent on our McLaren OP6T. Using the Warp charger on conventional phones will charge the devices as a regular charger, while OnePlus phones will charge at Dash/Fash Charging speeds. Apart from featuring the beautiful Papaya Orange accents that run along the bottom edges and gradually fading into black, the handset also boasts a whopping 10GB RAM — a first in the world on a smartphone. This handset comes in one limited edition configuration — a whopping 10GB RAM with 256GB storage and the rest of the hardware specifications remain the same. If you don’t happen to be a fan of the Papaya Orange and Black interface, you can easily change the look to neutral in the phone’s settings. This animation is purposely done slowly as a way to pay homage to the team’s Formula One race car drivers who are made to listen to slow music prior to a race in order to calm them down.(Source).

For those of you who have the 8GB OP6T, initially, you may not notice any drastic bump in the performance. The handset doesn’t merely get a new suit — OnePlus has dressed it down right to its internals. The OnePlus 6T McLaren edition commences the partnership with two brands that boast similar philosophies — Never Settle and Fearlessly Forward. With it, you now see a new boot up screen that features a carbon fibre-like hexagonal design alongside the McLaren logo. While in the past, OnePlus has added the 256GB storage in its handsets, this is the first time the brand has added 10 gigs of RAM to its smartphone — thereby cementing this handset as a limited edition model. While the carbon fibre design adds a touch of class, the true highlight is the Papaya Orange accent that adorns the sides of the handset. Before your initial setup is complete, OnePlus has also thrown in an Easter egg that takes advantage of the book/manual that comes in the box. This design philosophy was inspired by the way we see F1 cars zooming across the track — a blur. Unlike the standard 6T editions, the McLaren design has been built from the ground up, with specific attention to detail.

The handset also boasts of a new quick charging tech and a whopping 10GB of RAM, which justifies the price tag. OnePlus says they used over 6 F1 cars’ worth of carbon fibre in the production of the Speedmarks. As mentioned above, nothing else has changed otherwise — you still see the same 6. However, we feel that this colour combination goes along well with the look and feel of limited edition handset and in the process making it visually pleasing. The OnePlus branding along with the McLaren logo is highlighted in silver spelling out its exclusivity. In what’s a first for OnePlus, the McLaren edition now comes with Warp Charge 30.While 10GB of RAM maybe overkill in today’s tech scenario, OnePlus has added optimisations to it that make apps perform much faster, or rather smoother, than the usual 8GB 6T variant.Lastly, the OnePlus 6T McLaren edition is priced pretty steep in India at Rs 50,999.The McLaren Edition features a carbon fibre-like design beneath the glass back that is so subtle and can only be noticed just when the light hits it at a perfect angle

The cost of electricity consumption shall have to be paid by the respective consumers

This figure will also vary if the assumptions are changed. The FAQ further said connecting 4 crore left-out families under Saubhagya will increase the electricity requirement by 28,000 MW or 80,000 million units in a year.As per back-of-the-envelope calculation, at an average rate of electricity of Rs 3 per unit, the discoms can garner Rs 24,000 crore additional revenues. On the need for having another scheme when DDIGY and Integrated Power Development Scheme (IPDS) are operational, the FAQ explained that there is also lack of awareness as to how to get connection or taking connection is not an easy task for illiterate people. It explained that similarly in audio cable types Suppliers urban areas, the IPDS provides for creation of necessary infrastructure to provide electricity access but some households are not yet connected mainly on account of their economic condition as they are not capable of paying the initial connection charges. With the enhancement of income and habit of using electricity, the demand of electricity is bound to vary.

The cost of electricity consumption shall have to be paid by the respective consumers as per prevailing tariff of the DISCOM/Power Department," the FAQ said.It was also told that the cost of Saubhagya scheme i.Under Saubhagya the electricity connection to households include release of electricity connections by drawing a service cable from the nearest electricity pole to the household premise, installation of energy meter, wiring for a single light point with LED bulb and a mobile charging point..Therefore, it said that Soubhagya has been launched to plug such gaps and comprehensively address the issues of entry barrier, last mile connectivity and release of electricity connections to all un-electrified households in rural and urban areas. However, under the scheme the poor families will be provided electricity connections free of cost, said the frequently asked questions (FAQs) on the scheme released today by the power ministry."There is no provision in the scheme to provide free power to any category of consumers. It also said that the projects under the scheme will be sanctioned based on the Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) to be submitted by the states. There is no upfront allocation of fund under the scheme. For households located in remote and inaccessible areas, solar power packs of 200 to 300 Watt and battery back with 5 LED light, 1 DC Fan, 1 DC power plug along with repair and maintenance for 5 years will be provided, it added.

Rs 16,320 crore is over and above the investment being made under DDUGJY (Deendayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana). The document also explained that with the inclusion of 4 crore households in the electricity network, there will be requirement of additional power of about 28,000 MW, considering an average load of 1 KW per household and average uses of load for 8 hours in a day.According to the document, other families will pay Rs 500 only, which shall be recovered by the DISCOMs (Distribution Companies) /Power Departments in 10 instalments along with electricity bills. The Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana (Saubhagya) was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday with an ambition of providing electricity connections to all 4 crore left-out families by December 2018.It said that there may not be electricity pole nearby and the cost of erection of additional pole, conductor is also chargeable from the households for obtaining a connection.New Delhi: The Government, on Wednesday, said power will not be provided free of cost to any category of consumer under the recently launched Saubhagya scheme, which aims to provide electricity to all.The FAQ also said this is a dynamic figure.

In case, the electricity pole is not available nearby from household for drawing service cable, the erection of additional pole along with conductor and associated accessories shall also be covered under the scheme.e.The scheme is expected to increase the energy requirement by 28,000 MW per year.Under the scheme, application for electricity connections will also be registered electronically and requisite documentation, including photograph of applicant, copy of identity card and /or details such as mobile number/Aadhar number/bank account number etc will be completed on spot at the camps, so that connections are released at the earliest. The Gram Panchayat / public institutions in rural areas will also be authorised to collect application form, complete documentation and also for distribution of bills, collection of revenue and other activities, as applicable. It further explained that there would be an additional energy requirement of about 80,000 million units per annum
